A straphanger attacked a disabled man and his service dog on aboard a Bronx subway train, police said.

The 30-year-old victim was seated on a 4 train near the the 161st Street — Yankee Stadium station around 2 p.m. Tuesday when attacker Herman Williams, 48, walked over and demanded he move his service dog out of the way.

The man moved the dog but Williams still wasn’t satisfied. He then punched the poor pooch in the head.

The owner stood up to try and defend his faithful companion but Williams quickly punched him in the mouth, knocking out several teeth, police sources said.

Williams didn’t get far before cops nabbed him and found he was carrying four bags of weed along with two joints, cops said.

He was charged with assault, menacing harassment and possession of marijuana.

I am a disabled woman who through no fault of my own has wheels under my ass. I rely on the decency and common sense of local, state and federal goverments, as well as the retail community to abide by the disabled access laws and provide adequate ramps, disabled toilets, and not use them as store rooms or broom closets. This blog exists to find the offenders and out them, inform them, and report them if necessary and shame them into doing the right thing when all else fails.
